8-21-01 Cefca (keeping this up for those of you who missed it: uploaded the first fanart, which comes to us courtesy of Mog1983. Enjoy it!) I've often wondered as to the drastic change in character names when games come to the US. I mean, we got Kefka (Cefca), Locke (Lock), Amarant (Salamander!) and Golbez (Golbeza). Okay, so that last one was a change for the better. But don't you think it would've been cooler in FF9 if Amarant Coral had been named Salamander instead? ^_^ Well, in today's strip you see a touch of Tempest's influence on the multiverse. He has reduced one of the arguably greatest bosses in the history of video games to a messenger. I don't know about you, but I'm is starting to worry, gloves or no. On a totally unrelated note, I went to Sonic to get a shake in a break between rendering the background and actually making the strip tonight. I ordered a regular shake and a large slush. I got two shakes. >.< Of course, I'm the kinda guy that'll just take what they give me and grumble about it later (kinda like Kefka, I guess). *shrug* So I put the large shake in the freezer and I suppose I'll consume it on the morrow. ~TDC, who has a major brain freeze and still longs for caffeine... - the Chosen One |
