TheDarkChristian:

12-13-01

on lack of ranting

Well, wouldn't you know it!  Reset's numbers are up this month!  And it's due in part to Tandu.  Check them out and return the favor.  Also, I added Dirk Crimson to my daily-checked comics.  It's pretty sweet, so check it out too.  Also, I decided to reopen The Futurian Domain, a place to talk about many of the topics I rant about.  It's a discussion board that, well, pretty much explains itself.  If you guys like these rants and want to discuss these or other topics, check it out.

Well, I've asked around, and no one can tell me what to rant about...  Ordinarily this is not a problem, as I've got plenty of things to write about, but lately I've been having problems writing rants.

For one thing, I'm far too happy, due mostly (okay, entirely) to my girlfriend.  Life is good, y'know?  I had thought that...  well, that brings me to my second point.

I can't talk about most of the things that are making me happy, as they're private things, y'know?  So I talk about them in vague generalities, and hope they get across to you guys alright.

Thirdly, the bad things going on in my life aren't happening to me, but to the people around me.  Things seem to be going much worse for others than for myself.  And of course, I can't rant about those things due to point number two.

Finally, I have attempted to come up with something decent to rant about, but find myself thinking about my girlfriend, or talking with a friend of mine, or getting hit with ideas for my novel...  and it just doesn't seem to come together.

So I have managed to write a rant about being unable to write a rant.  It's the kinda stunt you can only pull once, but hey, can you blame me?

TDC, who likes to work around his problems, rather than through them
- tryin' to keep my feet on the ground, beginnin' to like this feeling I've found, getting to love the thought of having you around...
