1-5-02 The power of change First things first. Today's strip is a filler of sorts, and a kind of foreshadowing. Does that blue d00d look familiar? What do you think he's doing there? *chuckle* It'll be interesting to see how this turns out. Special thanks to Tandu, who was responsible for more hits to Reset last month than any site not belonging to me. Many thanks, man, and I'll return the favor somehow. I'm planning to add a little "site of the month" or something near the top or upper-left of the page here. We'll see how it goes. BTW, he also said some really great stuff about me. Thanks again. Well, I called Remmie's house today, hoping to bum some anime off of him, only to find out that he's out of the state. *shrug* It really came as no surprise, but that's not really the focus of my story. His sister answered the phone, and after quick pleasantries asked, "you wouldn't happen to be looking for a place to live, would you?" Well, this struck me as quite a surprise, as I had indeed been considering moving within the next few months. I had been planning to move to Lawrence 3-5 months from now, to be closer to my girlfriend when she goes off to college. Well, the rent in the place I'd be moving into is only $50 more per month than what I'm currently paying my dad to live at home. *chuckle* Granted, things will be a little more expensive... but I'm leaning toward moving as opposed to not. Kinda odd for things to change so suddenly... Anyway, I have to make the decision shortly, as I'd be moving in within the next few weeks. Not quite what I had in mind. It's too good a coincidence, y'know? It's a bit earlier than I had anticipated, but who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth? Anyway, I'll be checking the place out shortly and looking around the town for a classy waiting job. I had been looking around for a new job anyhow, as the Rainforest has been getting on my nerves lately... Well, that was probably more than you really wanted to know about my personal life, neh? ^_^; I think I'll go watch Fight Club now. TDC, who has a poor concept of time >.< |
