One month

Today's strip marks something new here at Reset: Sega characters.  So no emails about "why do you use only SNES RPG characters?"  I have now used Super Nintendo, Genesis, and Playstation sprites, with more to come.  :)  Besides, Sonic and Sam are gonna have to race at some point, right?  ;)  At the very least he'll come in handy for recon.

Anyway, today, (yesterday, actually) ...  (okay, the 7th, for those who were confused) marks the one-month anniversary of the day I asked a very special woman to be my girlfriend.  Just thought I'd mention that.  ^_^'  My beloved, I love you.  And you know who you are.  :)

Fight Club was brilliant, btw.  I can't believe people didn't preach its goodness to me before.  I'm glad I bought it.  It was totally not the movie I expected it to be.  And now I get all the "Fighter Club" jokes at 8-bit.  *chuckle*

I've been talking with a guy at work who draws in super hero, comic-book style.  He has read the entire archives (in a matter of hours, to hear him tell it) and is interested in doing a comic of his own.  However, he says he's not all that great with storylines, so I may help him there.  He also expressed interest in possibly doing a hand-drawn strip for us here at Reset.  Way cool, neh?

Still planning the major crossover with Simon's World, especially now that he's back in town.  :D  I got to talk with him recently, and he's changed artists, allowing him to focus on his storyline.  That should help move things faster, but all the same, we're shooting for February for that crossover.

Also, at the end we're still planning to do a romp around the webcomic world.  We've gotten a few artists signed up, but we're going to try and get everyone possible involved.  So I'll be emailing prominent authors this week.  Those of you that read this comic and make one of your own and are interested, whether your comic is sprite-based or hand-drawn, email me, and I'll provide the details.  It's pretty painless, and the setup is nearly perfect for sprite-based comics, at least according to one guy I talked to.

That's it, kiddos!

TDC, who really should get ahead on comics so he doesn't always update late, especially with a 14-strip crossover looming at the end of the month, and who also wrote an exceptionally long "who" this evening.
