Groundhog Day

What a mess.  Well, at least I'm still making the strips.  Apparently...  I'll get into that in a second.  Today's strip continues the interesting relationship between Tempest and Cid.  Why, you ask?  Why not?  Well, honestly, I'm having trouble concentrating on Reset, as I've got other things on my mind.

Back to my previous statement: we tried to get a cable modem installed here in the apartment.  All cool, the prices will be fine, we'll use one connection and I'll set up a LAN so we can network and access the Net at the same time.

We go to the cable place's office to pick up the cable modem, and the guy asks for our address.  Mind you, this is not the first time we had been asked.  Twice on the phone they asked where our apartment is located.  Anyway, the guy brings it up on his computer, and - oh, what's this?  Apparently your building isn't wired for high-speed access.

I am less than pleased.

Given the current circumstances, I'm forced to give up my reading of fellow webcomics, the checking of my stats, and even the reading of my email anything more than once a week.  Not that I'm complaining, really.  There's so much going on IRL that this whole no-net deal isn't such a bad thing, really...

Anyway, the crossover with Simon's World is postponed indefinitely.  Sorry, Simon.  There's just no way I can keep up.
