7-21-01 *fighting depression* I find it increasingly difficult to work on Reset, not because of a lack of content, but because of a lack of interest on my part. I simply don't like Reset anymore. The symptoms have been creeping up for a long time, but now they are overwhelming. I just don't want to do it anymore. Reset started out as a two-man comic. Remmie and I hashed out the idea and a few strip ideas in his basement one night. Since then I've been doing it on my own. Anyway, if you want to see more strips, email me. Right now I have no one to make strips for, no feedback to tell me that anyone wants me to keep going... Maybe I'm just crying out for help or attention. So what? Maybe it's just a cheap excuse to get emails. But this isn't some show stunt to rally interest in a dying comic. This is me telling you that I don't feel like doing this and won't make another strip unless I know someone out there is going to enjoy it. Thanks for hearing me out. ~TDC 7-23-01 announcements ...as in more than one. ;) First of all, Reset is NOT going to end any time soon. Thank you to the five of you that sent me emails yesterday (even if one of you was Jeffe). ^_~ I just really didn't want to keep making strips last week. Anyway, I have someone out there who I don't even know reading my strips and enjoying them, so I will continue to make them. Thanks again. I just have to realize that I am making the strips on my own and stop expecting Remmie to help. That way I won't be surprised or disappointed. Secondly, I saw Jurassic Park 3 tonight. *two thumbs up* Great movie. Don't waste your money on Final Fantasy. *winces* Hurts to say that, but it's true. If you want to see a sweet movie, see JP3. Acting, storyline, graphics, music - all superb. An hour-and-a-half roller coaster, full of thrills, laughs and eye-popping special effects. They kept it short and sweet. ^_^ Finally, hold on to your seats. I was checking the logs yesterday to see how we're doing. Frankly, our daily numbers are going down... But, I found out that about 3% of our hits this month have come from none other than Bob & George. Can't find the link? You can't get to it from the front page. Here's the lowdown. From the main page, go to his links page. At the bottom, there is a button that says "Fan". Not only are we on this page, we are at the top!!! These are the fansites he has listed. I really only have one complaint - he used our worst-looking banner. Oh well. Oh, one more thing. I am remaking the TDC shirts to make the URL more readable and make the backgrounds lighter so the character images easier to see. I guess what I'm trying to say is don't buy the TDC shirts just yet - they'll be better in a couple of days. On the other hand, the hats look great, although I'll probably tweak those images as well. Look for more Reset on Tuesday, as planned, when Chrono and Remmie square off... ;) ~TDC, who is whistling the theme to Jurassic Park even as Linkin Park blares over his speakers. TDC, l33t15t.
