revamping

(update: I just found out we are now listed on the links page at oldskooled! Also, for those who didn't see it before, we are listed on Bob & George's Fan/Links page!)

Well, I'm now taking full control of Reset. I'm not going to rely on Remmie anymore, as that is only a source of problems and disappointment, not to mention the stress it is putting on our friendship. But know this: while I have some talent in artistry, I have a tendency to sacrifice a strip for a storyline. So, if you have a funny punchline or short-term storyline suggestion for me, I would greatly appreciate it if you would email it to me. I have a couple of long-term storyline ideas in mind, but it is difficult to be consistently funny and still meet deadlines... Not to say that I'm not going to try. ^_~

I think I may have panicked a few of you last week, actually with my rant of a few days ago to be more specific. I'm not going to stop Reset. I just really don't want to put forth the creative effort necessary to make a quality, humorous strip sometimes. I need something to drive me on. I know we have fans out there, people who actually read the comic, and I'd just like to let you know: this comic is for you. You are the driving force that makes me want to make the deadline three times a week. I can stand the stress knowing someone will enjoy the fruit of my labors, and indeed looks forward to my next strip. Thank you.

And now, on with the show! Today's strip... well, I'm not sure. To be honest, I'm writing this while in mid-production of today's strip, hoping to get some kind of creative inspiration as I do something less comic-related. We're still following the Chrono Trigger storyline, but in the short term... Well, we'll just see, won't we? :D Make no mistake, I will drop the storyline if I feel we need to do something more off-the-wall, or if it starts to become very limiting. In fact, I think after this little mini-episode between Remmie and Chrono, we'll fast-forward a bit to some of the more humorous things I can come up with for our characters to do in the game.

I need some advice though: should I write Remmie out of the strip, replace him with someone else, keep letting him write rants (whenever the hell he feels like it) or what? Let me know what you think. Seriously.

taking over

Well, for those of you who didn't notice, Remnant resigned officially. Check the forums for the full details. I will continue to make Reset on my own, but since I can no longer use the characters Remmie or Rachel. So some of my long-term storylines (just a few) are kaput. I need some help! If you have a suggestion for a storyline, or just for a one- to four-panel one-strip joke, email them to me!

Anyway, I remade the first banner, cleaning it up and changing the text, and changed all the navigation. Do you like? ^_^ I am also working on the t-shirt designs, especially the TDC-related ones. We will be discontinuing the Remnant line shortly, so if you want one, buy it soon!

Reset is here to stay. How can we stop now that the biggest sprite-based comic on the web links to us? ;)
