flustered

To say the least. Today's comic is my poor attempt at sheer humor, but I don't feel very funny right now. I hope it doesn't show.

Well, if you're reading this on the main page, I've given up hope and used an AOL cd to upload the comic and rants. I'm not in a very good mood right now, and I don't really feel like ranting, but if I were you and was reading that, I'd like an explanation or at least a rant anyway.

So I continue.

Y'know, just when things are looking up, life comes crashing down again. I may or may not go into further explanation.

At least I've got my homework (almost) done. That'll make things easier for Monday, and takes more stress off me for the weekend.

You know what I would really like? A fucking day off. Not just from work and school, but from life. From my family and my so-called friends, from my home, car and even from my computer. I don't have free time. Any time it looks like I'm just killing or wasting time, my mind is processing all the things I have yet to do, berating me for not having done them already.

Most people who procrastinate do so because they have something better to do. I procrastinate because stuff just gets delayed, or I don't feel like doing it. I'd like to say I had some reason for not finishing the update to the archives and numbering the comics, but it's just due to the fact that I don't really much want to do them. Good enough? Well, it really doesn't matter, neh? I'll either get them done or I won't.

Thanks to those of you who have sent me URLs with free ISPs and other attempts at help. Unfortunately, I'm one of those proud, stubborn individuals that would rather suffer and do it on my own than take a helping hand. Sorry if that offends you. I'm just certain I have a way that will work, and very often brush others off who are only trying to help.

*sigh* I really don't feel like writing more.

~TDC, whose feelings are so mixed up he's not sure which way is up anymore

PS - we're doing a little something to help out with the relief effort. We (my father and I) are selling t-shirts for $15 and polo shirts for $25. Each says "Remember 9-11-2001" and sports an American flag. The tees have a stylized, waving flag, and the polos have an embroidered straight flag. $3.50 from each tee and $5 from each polo goes to the Red Cross. Email me if you're interested. I haven't worked out shipping costs yet. Haven't had a need to.
