Christmas time

Yay!  Finally, no TDC or Zero in a strip!  It's been a while, neh?  *chuckle*  So, moving on...  We'll be doing a special long-term crossover with Simon's World in January, and probably some other stuff before too long.  Stay tuned!

Reset won't be slowed down because of finals.  When all the other comics are doing fanstrips and such, you can come here for quality goodness three times a week, regardless of outside activities.  No offense to those of you too busy to make comics right now, I just got lucky and am done early.  ;)

One week!  Yes, it's seven (count them) seven days until Christmas.  If you haven't started your shopping yet, you're not alone.  :D  I've got about half my shopping done, and I'm not looking forward to finishing the other half.  But what must be done must be done, neh?

Christmas is a difficult, joyous time.  I used to hate this season (until about 2 1/2 weeks ago) and for good reason.  It seems to bring out the worst in people; if you work in a mall, that is.  The malls get more and more packed each weekend, to the point of insanity, and beyond.  Why people willingly subject themselves to this torture is beyond me, honestly.

People seem to get more crabby and rude, especially if you're driving near the mall.  They get snappish and fight for little things like parking places.  Any other time of year, they're willing to walk a few hundred feet, but not today, no sir!  Today if they don't get one of the best parking places in town, they just might hit a few pedestrians - it's not as uncommon as you might think.  ^_~

Christmas shopping is a pain.  It's always difficult to find the "perfect" gift.  So you find mediocre ones for the people you don't really know too well, putting off the gifts for the ones you really love.  But in the end, it doesn't really matter, right?  Because you're out of time and end up making snap decisions anyway, getting a gift that just isn't quite right.

But for all it's faults, it's Christmas, for Christ's sake.  And yes, I meant that literally.  This is the season for giving.  So give, people!  (this has nothing to do with my tips lately, I promise! ^_^'')

Of course, this holiday season is special to me because I've found a special someone.  I hope you all are as lucky as I have been.  The reason I used to hate this season was because of the way it has affected the people close to me.  This year, that's all different...  But you aren't reading this to hear about my life, neh?  *chuckle*

Christmas is said to be the most wonderful time of the year, and I find myself agreeing, if not quite wholeheartedly.  So what if it's not on the right day?  So what if it's commercialized?  Make the most of it anyway.

Have a happy holiday season, for those of you that celebrate Christmas, and those who don't.

TDC, who still needs to finish his holiday shopping
- Way up high, or down low, I'll go wherever you will go.
