Dogma

I traded the TV I won at work for store credit at Best Buy, and loaded up on DVDs. ^_^ I got Dogma, Ghost in the Shell, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Akira, and Princess Mononoke, as well as the soundtracks for AI and Jurassic Park 3. It's been an interesting day. On my way home from collecting my bounty, I blew a tire. *shrug* Wouldn't be such a big deal if I had a tire iron. >.< I had my jack out, and my spare, pulled off the hubcap and went looking for the tire iron or a lug wrench... neither of which I owned at the time. Thank God for cell phones.

Anyway, when I got home, I cranked out a strip (after consuming a medium pizza from gambinos) and sat back to watch Dogma, which I had heretofore never seen. I have to say, I loved the movie. But I liked it better before God showed up. Not quite sure why. I'll think about it and get back to you on that one. Oh, and they could've left out the shit monster. Wasn't really that funny, and didn't really fit with the story too well. Some of the scenes were simply classic, though, and I'm glad I have the DVD so I can go back and pick up some of the little details I know I missed.

About today's strip... to be honest, I don't know either. Earlier today I wanted to scrap Reset altogether... but that's hardly a decent option, with all the work I've done promoting this place. I've got some decent ideas, but I'm not quite sure how to get from where I am now to there. So I took TDC out of Chrono Trigger. I couldn't carry on the storyline I had planned without a Crono lookalike.

I'm at gamer hotties right now, and it appears they've changed a few things... I may have to remove them from our links list...

Anyway, look for either a rough (and I do mean rough) hand-drawn strip or a simple text strip on Tuesday. I'm sure I'll figure something out between now and then.

I have decided that there is only one real way of learning anything in the social realm, and it involves three simple steps:

1. Make a complete and total fool of yourself

2. Recover

3. Repeat

Following these simple steps, you will soon cease to make a complete and total fool of yourself, thereby saving yourself much embarassment but also learning less.
